Home Sweet Home

As an artist with a keen passion for drawing, I have always found drawing to be an outlet for my creativity and innovation. During my sophomore year of high school, I wanted to experiment with a new subject matter: architecture. For this piece, I used black and white colored pencils on toned paper, as I found this specific type of paper to be an excellent medium for accentuating the highlights and shadows of the modern building. From my architectural drawing, I gained a stronger appreciation and understanding of the importance of color values in artwork.
